Setting your holiday lights with a light timer is an efficient way to celebrate the season. No need to to remember turning them on or off – or pay for unnecessary additional electricity.
2. USE LED LIGHTS
Led lights and fiber optic holiday decorations are much more energy efficient, with the potential to save you as much as 90% on electricity usage.
Decorating with candles is a popular holiday touch. Remember – they’re not just for looks. Lit candles not only create a wonderful ambience, they’re also a great, money-saving alternative to electric decor and room lighting.
4. RELY ON TREE LIGHTS
As with candles, your Christmas tree lights add a warm, cozy feeling to a room, and can at times be used in place of standard room lighting, especially When your tree is on, when relaxing or entertaining.
5. COOK EFFICIENTLY
When cooking numerous items at once, always plan to cook as many dishes as possible at once. Simply separate savory and sweet items to prevent the creation of unusual flavor profiles.
